Why Garden Beds

There are many reasons to use garden boxes. 

We believe our cedar boxes are beautiful in the garden and create a nice addition to your current landscape.

Garden boxes are extremely functional. Filling the boxes with good rocks and soil once, and adding water sources and nutrients to the soil regularly, will help provide luscious gardens with much less weeding than traditional in-ground gardens.

Garden box growing has the ability to produce higher quantities of vegetables using a smaller space. This is especially useful to growers with limited yard space to grow. 

Much less bending over is required as the boxes are raised off the ground, especially with the taller beds (I have 24” beds in my garden).

Gardening helps offset our carbon footprint, and the increase in productivity in the beds helps the air and makes the bees happy with all the extra flowers.

Want to grow year round? I have been able to extend my growing season (growing year round) by using coverings during colder weather, thus creating my own “cold box” with my garden beds.

Last, made of cedar our boxes are a natural part of the environment.
